<image:caption>At He Manu Hou we follow Te Whāriki, the New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum. We focus on nurturing our tamariki, so that they are able to thrive, with a knowledge of their language, culture and identity. Waewae kai kapua - Our older tamariki spend lots of time outside. Being outside is shown to have lots of health benefits, including connecting with nature, better sleep and the opportunity for spontaneity, exploration, risk-taking and discovery.</image:caption>
